August diaper Donation Drives: Supporting Houston Families with Care and Dignity

August was an incredible month for the Houston Lone Star Diaper Bank, as we proudly hosted two diaper donation drives — one for baby diapers and wipes, and another focused on adult incontinence underwear. Both efforts helped us reach even more Houstonians in need of essential hygiene products that support health, comfort, and dignity.

Our August Impact

In total, we were able to serve over 60 local families with much-needed essentials:

👶 2,187 baby diapers
🧻 51,840 baby wipes
🍼 30 newborn care items
💕 500 postpartum and period supplies
🌼 560 adult incontinence underwear

These numbers represent more than just supplies — they reflect hope, relief, and compassion for families and individuals facing difficult times. Every donation and volunteer effort helped make this possible.

Baby Diaper & Wipes Drive

Our baby diaper and wipes drive ensured that local parents had access to the essentials their little ones need to stay clean and healthy. With inflation and rising costs putting pressure on so many households, having diapers and wipes available at no cost lifted a real burden for many Houston families.

Adult Incontinence Drive

Our second drive in August focused on supporting adults and seniors through donations of incontinence underwear and related supplies. This often-overlooked need is a major expense for many individuals, and your contributions helped restore comfort and dignity to those who need it most.
