Our June Diaper Day was another powerful reminder of what a caring community can accomplish. Despite the Texas heat, high humidity, and periods of rain, families and volunteers came together to make the day a success. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who braved the weather to attend, as well as our dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly to prepare and distribute essential supplies. Nearly 500 people attended our Thanksgiving Diaper Day. Thanks to generous donors, we provided 52 kits with diapers, wipes, period products, PPE, and postpartum items. Demand for diaper assistance is rising as SNAP and WIC don’t cover diapers and rising costs are straining families. Our Giving Tree helps us support more households — please spread the word so we can help even more Houston families.
